Giveaway Alert! Have you tried the Project E: Motion footwear line?

Can You Handle the Downsides of Being a Running Beast?
(scroll to bottom for giveaway)

That's what Pearl Izumi wants to know.

Have you tried the Project E: Motion footwear line? I have not but after watching this video, I think I may need to.
It's actually a pretty funny video too :)

They have created a running shoe that is not only light, but incredibly comfortable - actually propelling you forward with each step.  You can run faster with ease, but as the video jokes, there are some downsides of being a more efficient runner.

Have you ever had to break up with a slower runner? Unfortunately I have not, but this made me laugh anyway!

Or worst of all, having to perform CPR on your dog who couldn't manage to keep up with your new, speedy pace.

The videos are exaggerated and fun but the new design is no joke. Get ready for the smoothest running experience. At least that what they say.

The Project E:Motion line is a plush ride in a killer design - created to provide you with the smoothest running experience possible.

Disclosure: Pearl Izumi has offer this giveaway prize for this post.

  4. Hahah love those, one of the reasons I DONT run with other people all the time is because everyone is different paces. You can't let someone slow you down on a workout day, or make you go faster when you should be recovering.

    1. Laura, that is so true! And we all have to remember that just bc someone doesn't want to run with you doesn't mean that they aren't our friend :) LOL

  8. Fortunately, I've never had to dump or been dumped, but that's probably only because I rarely run with other people. I prefer to run alone, with my iPod drowning out the world.

  9. The Project E Motion video was very fascinating...so cool that the shape/make of the shoe can determine the comfort and stride and thus causing the person to be able to take more strides since there's less effort put into it.

  10. I breakup video was funny. I have a slower running buddy that I just can't break up with. So I've changed my running running schedule to make my easy run of the week with her.
Breaking up is hard to do. :)

  23. I watched the first video and thought the design/shape of the sole was interesting since I'm always over thinking my stride and strike.

  24. Haha the break up video was funny. I just adjust when I run with others based on the type of run I'm going on that day.

  27. I think the videos are kind of funny, but it's a "newish" way to get the information out. And I do like the look of the shoe and what I'm hearing about it.

  30. i run alone - i feel discouraged when somebody runs faster and not not challenged when they run slower. i'm not sure if i'd be the 'breaker' or the 'breakee'
