Want to be a Spartan? Try the Spartan Race

***The winner is Amanda Xiong
Well, I have done it! I bit the bullet and signed up for a race that scares me a little but also really intrigues me! Yep, I have signed up for The Spartan Race. This race happens all over the country.

I am going to be doing the one in Tampa in February. Who wants to join me? If you don't live in Tampa, you can do one near where you live. I am giving away one free entry right now! Who wants it??

The founder of Spartan Races Joe De Sena is going around the country and with his team they are leading Spartan strong workouts (they are free!!) ...You can register to participate and see just how spartan strong you are.

  9. I have actually run Mud Factor twice in Omaha area. The negative thing is the 1st year they didn't have the waterslide due to drought. This year they didn't have it due to storms the night before and 17 degree temps.

I am doing a Spartan here soon and Tough Mudder!

    2. Definitely!! I can't wait! I'm so excited!!! I plan on doing the Tampa Sprint and the Super in Miami. If all goes well, maybe I'll plan a vacation for later in the year for the Beast and grab a trifecta!!!

    3. One of the main reasons I'm so excited about it, I really was bummed after the whole Hero Rush debacle. We could only afford one race this year and that was the one we invested in and then they went belly up and now we have no races this year! I plan on packing next year full of Spartans!!!

  18. I love love love Spartan Races and try to do as many possible, they keep me motivated in my everyday life because I have to stay in shape to better perform each race :) through the pain and struggle of each race I always smile and the biggest one is always when I am jumping over the fire heading towards the gladiators at the end - there is not better feeling! I recently started signing up to be a volunteer to get free race entries since it can be expensive traveling to as many as my boyfriend and I do so a free race would be epic!!! btw, love your blog :)
